Answer: False

3. With the count 1-1, what's the call if a batter swings and missed a pitch, but the pitch hits the batter? Is it
(a) Hit batter - batter is awarded first base
(b) Hit batter - batter is out
(c) Strike two and the ball is dead.

Answer: C. The ball is always dead on a hit batter.
